How High Efficiency Mining Filter Press works

1.Closing the Press: The filter press is first closed using the hydraulic system. The filter plates are pressed together tightly to form a sealed chamber.
2.Feeding Slurry: Slurry is then pumped into the press through a central feed point. As the slurry fills the chambers between the filter plates, pressure builds up.
3.Filtration Process: Under the applied pressure, the liquid (filtrate) is forced through the filter cloth, leaving the solids (cake) behind. The filtrate is collected in troughs and drained away.
4.Cake Formation: As the filtration continues, a cake of solid material forms on the filter cloth. The thickness of the cake increases until it fills the chamber.
5.Drying Phase: After the filtration phase, the pressure may be maintained or increased slightly to dry the cake further, removing excess moisture.

The frame of Jingjin’s filter press is constructed from Q345B steel, which offers a tensile strength 1.4 times greater than that of Q235 steel. The oil cylinder seat, pressing plate, and thrust plate are crafted using carbon dioxide protection welding, ensuring robust and reliable construction.

Jingjin’s main beam is designed with a welded box construction and is manufactured using advanced submerged arc automatic welding technology. This technique enhances the structural integrity and durability of the filter press.

All components requiring painting undergo high-speed centrifugal ball blast descaling to remove rust and scale. Following this, a MIO epoxy build primer is applied, and an acrylic polyurethane coating is directly painted on, ensuring optimal adhesion.
